The Council for Private Education (CPE) is established under the Private Education Act, which was gazetted in October 2009. CPE is a statutory board that is empowered with legislative power to regulate the private education sector.
Other than acting as a regulator for private education institutions, CPE also facilitates capability development to uplift standards in the local private education industry.
