Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a WSQ Diploma in Tourism by WDA.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR WDA FUNDING

Company-Sponsored Applicant

  • Applicant must be Singaporean or Singapore PR.
  • Applicant must achieve 75% attendance for EVERY unit and “Competent” for ALL assessments.
  • Application fee, re-assessment fee and any other fees are not funded by WDA.
  • Should the applicant resign or be terminated, the sponsoring company will not be eligible for funding. If applicant wishes to continue with the course, he/she can apply as Self-Paying Applicant. Terms and conditions apply.
  • Applicant must stay within the company for at least 6 months after course end date.
  • The absentee payroll will be disbursed to the company through SKILLSCONNECT when the participant has fulfilled ALL the following:

- Completed ALL the required SOAs

- Completed full training within 12 months and “Competent” for ALL assessments

- Company-Sponsored applicants must stay with the sponsoring company for at least 6 months after completion of the programme.

 

Self-Paying Applicant

  • Applicant must be Singaporean or Singapore PR.
  • Applicant must achieve 75% attendance for EVERY unit and “Competent” for ALL assessments.
  • Application fee, re-assessment fee and any other fees are not funded by WDA.
  • Applicant is liable to pay back the funding if ANY of the following is not fulfilled:

- Completed ALL the required SOAs

- Completed full training within 12 months and “Competent” for ALL assessments

- Secure employment in the Hospitality sector within 3 months after completion of the programme.

- Stay employed within the company for at least another 6 months

  • Self-paying applicants are NOT entitled for absentee payroll
  • Applicant must pass the interview conducted by TMIS and sign a letter of undertaking to indicate that he/she fully understands the terms and conditions for the WDA funding.
