Course Objectives
The Certificate in Advance English for Young Tourism Professionals programme encrypted students the language and skills needed to communicate effectively and confidently, especially in the tourism and hospitality industries.
The programme aims to develop the student’s appropriate use of English in terms of accuracy, facility and fluency. It serves as a preparatory course designed to prepare non-English speakers who do not meet the minimum English language requirement for TMIS programmes.
Learners are introduced to English grammar and vocabulary through the four core competencies in speaking, listening, writing and reading which are conceptualised within a thematic interactive approach framework and this forms the structure of the course.
